Tite-Reach Extension Wrench

A Shocker Choppers Garage Product Test Feature

While at the SEMA Show we had to pick up this tool for the Shocker Choppers Garage. Tite-Reach is a chain driven 1:1 ratio socket extension. They offer two different offerings, a professional version with metal casing and available in  1/4″ and 3/8″ drives, and a DIY version with plastic casing and a 3/8″ drive.

We were working on our Mini-Chop 2 when we saw a need for the Tite-Reach. The nuts securing the fake tank were up underneath the back-bone of the frame. Sandwiched between the incredible 5.5hp motor and the frame were two nylok nuts. A regular socket wrench would have made the movement difficult so we relied on the Tite-Reach to get full pull from our wrench. Here you see Billy easily removing the hidden nut.

If you have a particularly hidden nut or bolt you can also tie two or more of the Tite-Reach extensions together. Each come with a dual male adapter. You can use them with ratchet or impact wrenches up to 150Nm. They can be driven from either side. The professional line is housed in die-cast aluminum with chrome vanadium hardened gears and inserts, low-friction bushings and high quality powder coating. Designed and engineered in the USA!
