Slots of Hope – H.O. Drags

What to do besides climb the walls and you can’t get out to the garage to work / fine tune your baby ?

You either Improvise, watch and drool over what is going across the auction block or do what other big kids do. You dust off that box of H.O. that has been in storage or your closet, invite a few friends and family and go racing.

Now I have not touched an H.O. for some 50 + years. In fact since I got my first love and D.L. in 65. So today was both new and brought back memories.
And doing some searching this past month I have found out that the sport had not gone the way of the dinosaur. Several tracks are alive and doing well from small town U.S.A. like here in Hope, Kansas, where the city population doubled today to Kansas City where it is big time.

And all had fun.

With about 15 racers from little kids to the big kids we all enjoyed the afternoon. Their was 3 winners in each class.
So the 405 has nothing over the ” No Speed Limit” slot car team.
