Kelly and Son’s 1969 Chevelle For ididit – Part 3

Firing Up The Beast

In this visit with Mitch Kelly we find them tightening up the custom Magnaflow exhaust. Apparently last night they fired up the Pace Performance engine for the first time in the re-assembly. The chassis is complete since our last visit with the QA1 carbon fiber drive shaft, Currie rear end, Wilwood brakes, Tremec 6 speed trans. The Mattson radiator is in, the custom snorkel for the FiTech induction is complete.

The dash with Dakota Digital gauges and Vintage Air is ready to mount. The ididit steering column is in place. Chris Peterson came in and wired the car all up with a Ron Francis kit and Mitch’s son Thomas plumbed the engine and trans. In about 4 weeks they will get the car back for final buff and polish and ready to run to SEMA.
