The 401k Club Hot Rod Shop

It was several years ago that I first heard of The 401k Club Hot Rod Shop. This was in a time where hot rod shops were coming out of the woodwork. And now we see the survivors. The key to survival in this economy and industry is to do good work, at a reasonable price and take care of your customer needs. Dana Manier leads The 401k Club in a direction of growth and commitment to customer service.

The 401k Club Hot Rod Shop’s motto: “Drive your investment” has a great following. Accolades include comments like: “…I appreciate Dana keeping me informed throughout the process…” and “…work ethic and honesty are rare to find…”. Keeping the customer informed of their project’s process and doing what they say they will do, ensures Dana and the crew will be creating and maintaining great cars for years to come.

But, when the boys at the 401k Club aren’t building, repairing or maintaining classics, hot rods and trucks they are hosting a monthly open house, or the weekly Cypress Cruise Night, or attending/exhibiting at many southern California events. Very much a part of the car-culture here in Southern California. I guess that’s what attracted me to them. I see this following of “Club Members” and had to look into the shop. My ’56 needed some maintenance. They came and picked up my car and called me the next day with an estimate of repairs. Satisfied with the price and recommendation, they performed the work quickly and had the car ready for me and the SEMA Show and Shine in Pasadena. They also gave me a recommendation to help get the most horsepower out of the 390 and soon, it will be going through rubber sooner than ever!

I invite you to visit their website: The401kClub.com and check out the articles from Drive!, Hot Rod and Restoration and Muscle Car Power magazines in the About section. And, don’t forget their calendar on the home page, and visit their open house or Cypress Cruise.
