Chris Dunlop aka “Pinstripe Chris” is an Automotive Artist and Designer based out of Southern California.
He is a full time artist that had started out in the autobody/paint side of the custom car world working hands on with the types of cars he still enjoys. Originally based out of Rockville, Maryland, Chris and his wife Caitlin moved to Southern California to pursue the car culture at its roots. Although he did not go to school for artwork, his hands on experience led the way to understanding the forms and functions of his subject in a way that is uniquely expressed thru his use of various mediums; pen, marker, airbrush, acrylic paint, and digital artwork are some of the mediums used. Chris has been seen on Jay Leno’s Garage as well as had many automotive magazine features talking about his artwork and design. “Variety” is what he says is the key to keeping things fun and fresh for him as he explores new ways to share his passion with his fellow automotive enthusiasts.
